Buying at auction

Participating in auctions is both easy and entertaining! Auctions offer a chance to discover and bid on unique items. As soon as the auction catalog becomes available, you can register your bids. Learn more in our buyer's guide.

The first step is to explore the diverse range, find your personal favorites, and save them to your watchlist. Alternatively, you can immediately place a bid by registering. Before you can bid, you need to log in or create a customer number.

When placing a bid, you always select a maximum bid. If another bidder challenges you and bids on the same item, the system will automatically increase your bid in the smallest possible increments until your maximum bid is reached. Each item has a specified starting price, based on our assessment of the item's value. The starting price serves as a guide and may be exceeded or undercut during the auction itself.

You can monitor the bidding until the end of the auction. If you want to stay updated on the bidding, you can set notifications on your profile. When the auction ends, and you are the highest bidder, you can easily pay the invoice via "My Account." At Rekomo Auctions, you only pay a small buyer's premium of 125 SEK including VAT on top of the winning bid. You can find detailed information about fees in our terms of purchase.

Once you have paid the invoice, you can pick up your purchased item at the specified location. Contact us at auctions@rekomo.se and book a time for pickup. For most items, we offer various transportation options. Some items have specific transportation prices listed, which refer to the shipping between our pickup locations. If a shipping price is not listed, the item must be picked up at the specified location.

Once you have arranged the transportation and paid the transportation invoice on your profile, we will ship your purchase within a week. All deliveries are trackable, and you have the option to choose insurance if desired.
